About

I'm Efe Özkan, an AI and software developer building LLM-based systems that run in production. I design RAG pipelines, AI agent infrastructure and MCP-based tool layers end to end in Python and TypeScript, then ship them to the cloud with Docker and CI/CD.

At Skala MRP I work on an enterprise ERP/MRP production planning platform, building the backend, the Angular frontend modules and the agent layer that lets external AI assistants query application data in natural language.

Before that I co-founded Comcai, an AI-powered call analytics platform I scaled to more than 10,000 calls per month, and spent a summer in the R&D center of Aktif Bank building RAG-based document processing and KVKK-compliant masking services. Alongside that I led a TÜBİTAK 2209-B research project as principal investigator and published three conference papers.

  • Develop PHP backend and Angular frontend modules for an enterprise ERP/MRP production planning platform.
  • Built an MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool layer on top of the application's REST API, letting external AI assistants query application data in natural language.
  • Designed an AI agent architecture that turns natural-language commands into business operations, combining tool calling with LLM integration to add an intelligent automation layer to production workflows.
  • Run R&D on data processing, process automation and AI features; help manage AWS infrastructure and DevOps.

  • Co-founded an AI-powered call analytics platform and owned its entire technical side; designed the architecture from scratch and scaled it to analyze 10,000+ calls per month.
  • Delivered a Python (FastAPI) and Docker microservice architecture with a Next.js real-time analytics dashboard and automated CI/CD deployments, sustaining 99.5% uptime and cutting deployment time by 70%.
  • Owned the product roadmap, AI model selection and pricing; cut clients' call analysis costs by 40% compared with traditional call center analytics.

Robotic Process Automation and R&D Center Intern

  • Built a RAG-based document processing system with Python, Docker and Llama.cpp; cut retrieval latency from 1.2 s to 0.4 s (65% faster), speeding up internal document search.
  • Designed Flask RESTful APIs for data masking and address verification compliant with KVKK, the Turkish data protection law; deployed them on Azure, integrated them into 3 internal systems and processed 10,000+ masking operations.
  • Built vector database management dashboards with Streamlit and trained 25+ employees on AI chatbots and RAG architecture, supporting the bank's AI adoption.
